Building Community Resiliency in the Face of Climate Change
Climate change poses many challenges and threats to coastal communtities here in Maine. Luckily, many communities and state agencies are recognizing the risks of climate change and many efforts are underway to make communities more resilient to those risks.
The State Planning Office has created a website Planning for Climate Change in order to help communities better prepare for the challenges ahead. There you will find links to many resources that you can access and use to inform your local community and decision makers.
Another great resource if you are interested is a film created by Maine Sea Grant called Building a Resilient Coast: Maine Confronts Climate Change.
