Bar Harbor

The Bar Harbor Conservation Committee has discussed becoming a Cool Community. And hosted Maine Partners for Cool Communities at which the president of COA spoke about the “greening” of the College. It is noted that all the Mount Desert Island (MDI) towns have already taken many important steps, like the developing the Island Explorer bus system, encouraging recycling, and installing compact fluorescent lighting.
