Green Building Forum 2010

Going Green to Stay in the Black: A New Decade of Energy Efficiency and Green Building” was held on January 21, 2010 at the Glickman Family Library, USM, Portland, ME.  Glen Brand, Director of Sierra Club’s Cool Cities Program and Andy Hyland of the US Green Building Council Maine Chapter spoke about the value of green building and local policies that Maine Communities can adopt. 

John Brautigam, Director of Efficiency Maine, spoke about the state’s energy and efficiency programs and the opportunities that exist with current and pending federal grants. 

Sam Nutter of Conservation Services Group (CSG), the group contracted with Maine to deliver the state’s $9 million income neutral weatherization program, spoke about the program’s training and project goals.
